Secondo inning che passa rapido senza che nessuno dei battitori delle due squadre arrivi in base.

Altro errore difesa seguito da un doppio al centro ed entra un altro punto. Dopo un altro attacco di Minerbio che non muove il punteggio si arriva al nono e decisivo inning. Ancora errore difesa seguito da due singoli fanno segnare a Modena un altro punto, ma il margine di vantaggio era ampio e la partita finisce con il risultato di 11 a 5 per Minerbio, che batte 9 valide contro 5 ma lascia 4 uomini in base contro 10.
Di nuovo in campo domenica 7 luglio, sempre alle 15 sul diamante di Colorno dove i Lupi cercheranno di conquistare il primo successo in trasferta.
